Lilia Bou (USA), ranked 2nd in the world in women's golf, has confirmed her participation in the Solheim Cup, a US-

Europe women's golf competition, following Nelly Korda (USA).

The LPGA Tour announced on the 3rd (Korean time) that the U.S. representative selection point for the Solheim Cup has

been accumulated to 1,932.5 points, making it possible for the player to advance to the Solheim Cup without adding any

more points.

The Solheim Cup will be held for three days from September 14th at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville,

Virginia, USA.

The U.S. Solheim Cup representative is automatically selected if they finish within the top 7 in the combined points

ranking for each LPGA Tour 추천 event.

The fact that Boo, who struggled early in the season due to injuries but won his first title of the season at the Meijer Classic

last month, was able to secure his place in the Solheim Cup early on is thanks to his outstanding performance last year.

The selection points for players competing in this year's Solheim Cup have been awarded since the opening round of the

LPGA Tour last year.

Last year, he won four times, including two major tournaments.

Boo has shaken off her early season slump by finishing second in the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, her third major

of the season.

Meanwhile, Korda, who has swept five wins this year, confirmed his participation in the Solheim Cup early on the 10th of

last month.
